In classical languages when it comes to love we find different terms used: AGAPE, EROS, PHILIA, LUDUS, AGAPE, PRAGMA and PHILAUTIA. Philautia was interpreted by the choreographer Salvatore Nicolosi as self-love that leads to excessive narcissism and so consequently to a deep loneliness. This production is also based on to the myth about Medusa who, due to her beauty, was transformed into a horrible monster. This work was part of an evening displaying six different choreographers.

A project that involved more than 180 people on the stage between the professional company of the Pfalztheater Kaiserslautern as well as countless faces of the Rhineland-Palatinate institutions. In the project by Tanja Hermann and Stefano Giannetti the story of the author Alessandro Manzoni "I Promessi Sposi" is told through the choreography of Stefano Giannetti himself and that of Salvatore Nicolosi and the notes taken from the Requiem Mass by Giuseppe Verdi.

When not everything goes the way we want, we lose our track and we don't recognize ourselves, then the time comes to look around and find our way, choose the direction we want to take. This solo created and performed by Salvatore Nicolosi has been exhibited in various theaters and various events including the Solocoreografico Solo Dance Festival in Turin.

LINK is an intertwinement of more stories, a sculpture (Elsa Vogt-Ramachers) and three paintings (Claudia Gross-Duza, Angie Horlemann, Eva Henrich).
Behind each piece there is a long process of work and inspiration but also a personal story.
This performance is a dialogue between the artist and the audience, it's a projection of those stories that somehow connect to each other. What inspired them, what makes those pieces becoming what they are? The link is the pain and suffering which is motivating those artists to express themselves through those pieces of arts, to immortalize those memories.

With the collaboration of the musical composer Stephan Baumann and the videographers Marta Maria Mròz and Marie Gouil,
Salvatore Nicolosi has managed to create a dialogue between dance, videography and live music.
